Launch of DVD guide to dancing the Sardana
We will shortly be releasing a DVD which is the definitive teach yourself guide to learning the Sardana dance.

It will be used to teach the Sardana dance (basic knowledge of steps, orchestra called Cobla, authors, history, etc.) to immigrants, educational centres and foreign associations. It will also be subtitled in different languages.

Petition for Manuel Oltra’s Creu de Sant Jordi’s Award
An FUS formal petition was presented to Catalonia’s Autonomous Government´s Council of Culture to grant the musician Mr Manuel Oltra the Creu de Sant Jordi Award.

The formal petition was presented in 2007 and, at the time of writing, has gained more than 400 signed petitions, the majority from celebrities and dignatories from the world of music, culture and politics.

For this reason, please find attached the following petition (in Catalan) which we would gratefully ask you return signed as soon as possible.
